Hybrid K3 is the newest sticky rubber in Tibhar rubber range. And, now Tibhar is strongly recommending Hybrid K3 as the rubber for top players. Since the introduction of poly ball, sticky rubbers such as DHS Neo Hurricane 3 started to attract attention as the equipment of top players. The leader of sticky rubber is DHS Neo Hurricane 3 which is used by many Chinese top players. But, by the advancement of technology, German and Japanese sticky rubbers have succeeded to get similar characteristics as Chinese sticky rubbers. Hybrid K3 is the result of the recent German technology. It is a pure German-made sticky rubber than combines the stickiness like Chinese rubber with the ease of use of non-sticky German rubbers. The sponge hardness (= sponge density) of Hybrid K3 is 53 degree in German standard (= around 40 degree in Butterfly / DHS standard). It is softer than Stiga DNA Dragon Grip 55 and Butterfly Dignics 09c. And, that softness is one of the advantage of Hybrid K3, because players who haven’t used Chinese sticky rubber can adapt to this rubber more easily.

Hybrid K3 is currently the flagship in Tibhar rubber range.
The theme color of Hybrid K3 is dark purple. It is expressing that this is a high-class rubber.
Sponge density is 53 degree in German standard which is around 40 degree in DHS / Butterfly standard.
‘PRO TOOLS’ is the term indicating that Tibhar developed this equipment for top players.
To protect the stickiness, top sheet is covered by a plastic sheet.
The color of sponge is cream. Cream is the best sponge color because it doesn’t affect the performance of rubber.
The sheet is thick, and the pimple is low. The diameter of pimple is also smaller than that of non-sticky rubbers in DNA series.
It is expected that the sticky rubbers will become the mainstream of top player’s rubber.
Besides DHS Neo Hurricane 3 (province team version or national team version), Butterfly Dignics 09c can be considered as the most important competitor of Tibhar Hybrid K3.
