Work of TTGearLab :
(1) The concept of blade family
(2) Designing the constructions of plywoods (using performance indices)
(3) Designing the head shape and handle shape
(4) Graphic design – Handle wood blocks, lenses and head printings
Dynarc series is the second blade family of ITC, and total process of development from the concept to the graphic design was also done by ReDATT (= the name of TTGearLab at that time). The concept of Dynarc series is to make dramatic curve of ball trajectory. At the same time, ease of use was another target of this series. The name of series – Dynarc – is from ‘Dynamic Arc’. The position of Dynarc series was lower than that of Premier series. So relatively lower cost was also the target of the development of Dynarc series.
Dynarc series consists of three blade – one quad-fiber blade and two all-wood blades. The quad fiber blade is the top model of this series, but isn’t the fastest one. The top layer of all three models is heat treated Koto.

Dynarc Q3 is a very thin quad fiber blade. In its 5+4 ply construction, glass fiber is placed directly under the top layer, and carbon fleece is placed between middle layer and center layer. Its elasticity expressed in value isn’t that high. However, in actual rally it could make much higher power than expected when it was used for topspin at close-to-table area. Thanks to its softness, Dynarc Q3 could also make very good combination with Chinese sticky rubbers.

Dynarc T7 is a 7-ply wood blade. Although it is a 7-ply wood blade, its thickness is just a bit thicker than that of offensive 5-ply wood blades. Therefore it isn’t as hard as traditional 7-ply wood blades such as Stiga Clipper Wood or Butterfly SK7. Dynarc T7 isn’t the blade for fast attack but the blade for topspin.

Dynarc T5 is a thin 5-ply wood blade for close-to-table topspin. The tanne wood of its middle layer makes very sharp feeling. It makes very good combination with Chinese sticky rubbers or not-sticky rubbers those are biased to spin. Because Dynarc T5 is very easy-to-use, it was also considered as the entry model of ITC blade range.
Following are the performance indices of Dynarc series :
Dynarc Q3
– Ep = 1.37
– Ec = 1.47 (Ec/Ep = 1.07)
– Vp = 1.23
– Vl = 1.18 (Vl/Vp = 0.96)
Dynarc T7
– Ep = 1.89
– Ec = 1.68 (Ec/Ep = 0.89)
– Vp = 1.18
– Vl = 1.10 (Vl/Vp = 0.93)
Dynarc T5
– Ep = 1.43
– Ec = 1.35 (Ec/Ep = 0.94)
– Vp = 1.14
– Vl = 1.23 (Vl/Vp = 1.08)
