Hello. I am a fan of your work and would like to place an request. Could you please review some of the heat treated blades? Like the Donic Burn series, for which I would like to know the Ec/Ep values.

I have some heat treated blades, but those are not currently available models. Regarding Burn series, I’m considering to contact Donic distributor. But, I’m not sure I will be able to get samples soon. (I once visited the exibition of Donic Distributor but I couldn’t see Burn series there.)

Can you also review some donics “Waldner Legend Carbon”, “Original Carbospeed”, “Original True Carbon Inner” at least elasticity and vibration values. Many members in my club use this blade. And thanks for all useful reviews on this blog.

Thank you for comment. But, I don’t have the samples of the blades you mentioned.
I’m considering to contact Donic distributor for getting samples. If it is realized I will be able to deal with more Donic blades in this web site. 🙂

How can you compare Donic Waldner Senso Carbon vs Donic Walnder Dicon? Donic’s catalog says that Dicon is faster (9+) and with less control (7+) compares to Waldner Senso Carbon (8+ and 8+). Also Dicon described like “nearly stiff” with OFF-…OFF rating. And Waldner Senso Carbon described like “speed elastic” with AR+…OFF rating. From yours indexes we can see completely different natures for that two blades. So which blade from this two is easier to play for beginner player and why?

Please first check Ep, Ec and Ec/Ep of those two models.
DICON : 1.42 / 0.97 / 0.68
SENSO CARBON : 1.39 / 1.28 / 0.92
Both of those two will be very good for beginners because the elasticity level is not high. Both of those will provide very good control. Although there are differeces between two, thinking better or worse will not be much meaningful in my opinion.
But, becasue of very low Ec/Ep (= 0.68), Dicon will be better for extremely aggressive topspin that aims at rising of ball. On ther contrary, because of much higher Ec/Ep (= 0.92), Senso Carbon will be better for all-round play which uses various technics.
Then, if we consider the fact that beginners don’t have style and they have to learn various technics, Senso Carbon will be better choice.

Also I want to say that I have good results with Waldner Senso Carbon (JO Shape) and I like that blade a lot. But now I switched to the light sample of Xiom Fuga (81 grams blade but with slightly different rubbers). I also real enjoy to play with such combo and feel slightly more safe with it.
